The Red Room gig was an incredible evening of great bands, fun and frolics. On the line up with us were New Young Pony Club and Tinashe.
I played lead guitar with my friends Jamie (lead singer), Mikki (base and harmonica) and Dom (on drums). Making up our mellow rock band Delilah.
It was an awesome rush to play on stage with close friends and we had a great response from the crowd. 350 people crowded the roof gardens to watch us play and there was an awesome buzz in the air. Music has always been a passion of mine but nerves about performing live have always held me back. It was awesome to confront my fears and as some people like to say, rocking it out by 'Slappin de Base!'
Hope all of you musicians out there are pushing yourselves out of your comfort zone. It's well worth it and a great feeling!
